Ralph D Firman, one of the UK’s foremost racing drivers, is focusing his years of expertise on a new breed of sports prototype: The RF1. GULIK Design was contracted to handle a fresh branding overhaul for this exciting venture, including logo, website, business cards and marketing brochure.
One stipulation was that the new Firman One logo had to incorporate Ralph’s racing-helmet icon, which has a sentimental value. GULIK Design provided a variety of options, and ultimately a clean and classic version was decided upon, in which the icon acted as the “O” in “Firman One”. This design allowed for the icon to be a central part of the design, without becoming too busy or convoluted.
The finished products are high-end and professional, perfectly reflecting the very nature of Firman One Motorsport.
